Understand a menu before you order
AI Menu APP is designed for travelers and diners who need more context than a word-for-word translation. It combines text extraction, menu structure detection, and translation so sections, dish names, descriptions, and prices remain easier to compare.
Menu photos and documents vary widely. Lighting, decorative fonts, multiple columns, handwritten notes, and mixed languages can all affect recognition. Clear, straight images and complete PDF pages usually produce the most useful result.
The translated menu is a reading aid, not a replacement for the restaurant's current menu or staff. Always confirm prices, availability, ingredients, and allergy information directly with the restaurant before ordering.
Common questions
Which menu formats can I use?
You can submit a menu photo, image file, PDF, or public menu webpage. Password-protected documents and pages that block automated access may not be readable.
How can I improve recognition?
Capture the full page in focus, avoid glare and steep angles, and keep prices beside their dish names. For multi-page menus, use the original PDF when available.
Are translations guaranteed to be accurate?
No. OCR and AI translation can misread stylized text, regional dish names, abbreviations, or unusual layouts. Compare important details with the source menu and ask restaurant staff when uncertain.
Can I rely on allergen or dietary labels?
No. Recipes and kitchen practices can change, and cross-contact may not appear on a menu. People with allergies or medical dietary restrictions should confirm directly with the restaurant.
What happens to submitted menu content?
Menu content is sent to the cloud and AI services needed to perform the requested analysis. Retention, account choices, and service providers are explained in the Privacy Policy.
